Beijing Language and Culture University
Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) was founded in 1962, it is the only international university in China with its main task set at serving foreign students, providing training courses for teachers specialized in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and offering pre-departure language training to candidates intending to go abroad.
Beijing International Chinese College
Approved by Beijing Municipal Education Commission and Beijing Civil Affairs Bureau Beijing International Chinese College (BICC)，the first professional educational institution devoted to international promotion of Chinese language was founded in September, 2005. Since its foundation, it has achieved the qualification of enrolling International students as well as holding various kinds of tests, such as TCFL, HSK, BCT, YCT, and BETS. Moreover, we have organized a series of important training seminars and R&D projects entrusted by the Ministry of Commerce, Hanban, Beijing Municipal Education Commission and Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission. We are currently in cooperation with many schools, educational institutions and established enterprises in America, Spain, Italy, France, New Zealand, Korea and etc. BICC is gradually developing into a one-off and top-notch Chinese learning and teaching base.

★ Duration
2 to 3 years in total
The first period lasts about 2 years. Within the first 2 years, students are supposed to attend classes, get the required credits and finish 30 hours of teaching practice. Teaching practice can be replaced by academic practice. The second period lasts about 1 year. Students must complete all the courses. The dissertation and thesis defense are to be finished within half a year after the teaching practice or academic practice.
