The official opening ceremony of HSK and YCT Training center was held on March 8,2009 at Beijing BaCui Bilingual School which belongs to Chinese Red Cross Foundation. The people present included: Former Vice-Minister, General Educational Inspector, President of China Education Association for International Exchange Mr. Liu Bin ; Vice-President of Beijing Municipal UNESCO Clubs Association World Federation, Vice-President of The Chinese Society of Education, Adviser of General Educational Inspector Mr. Tao Xi Ping ; Vice-District Magistrate of Chao Yang District Ms Zhang Chun Xiu; Former Director of Department of Farming Protection ,Ministry of Land and Resources, Vice-Honorary Chairman of Chinese Red Cross Foundation Mr. Pan Ming Cai; Vice-Director of Chinese Red Cross Foundation, President of Beijing BaCui Bilingual School Ms. Jiang Dan; President of Beijing BaCui Bilingual School Mr. Wan Xiao Ping; President of BICC Mr. Geng Xue Chao; Vice- President of BICC Mr. Qiao Shu Ping; teachers and students from Beijing BaCui Bilingual School. The ceremony was hosted by Vice-President Ms. Jiang Hong Xia and Mr. Zhang Xi Hua from Beijing BaCui Bilingual School.Ms.
Qiao Shu Ping and Mr. Wan Xiao Ping both gave a speech during the ceremony. Ms Qiao also read out the statement that Beijing BaCui Bilingual School is to build the HSK and YCT training center. Mr. Liu Bin, Mr. Tao Xi Ping, Ms Jiang Dan and Mr Geng Xue Chao declared the establishment of the HSK and YCT training center in both schools. Mr. Liu Bin gave a speech. He said,“Chinese Language is one of the best Languages in the world. The establishment of the HSK and YCT training center in both schools will make it more convenient for overseas students to learn Chinese and take HSK, also can promote Chinese Language to the whole world, promote the culture exchange between China and Western Countries, promote the friendship of people all over the world, and establish the foundation for international exchange and cooperation. ” Mr. Liu also wished the success to the co-operations between the two schools.
