A start-up conference of the Chinese teaching material development for the Korean middle school students was convened on 18th, Sep.2009 in Being International Chinese College (BICC). BICC president Geng Xuechao, vice president Zhou Yanyun and Qiao Shuping, the dean of International College of Chinese Studies, East China Normal University Prof. Wu Yongyi, the vice dean of the graduate department of the BLCU, Zhanghua， the Managing director of Chinese Publishing of Foreign Language Teaching & Research Press Peng Donglin and other experts attended the conference. During the conference, the experts had a thorough discussion on the necessity, practicality of the material editing and made agreements on these issue. This meeting laid a solid foundation for the further development.
